For
seven weeks of the year the MCTA players train at the Monte Carlo
Country Club but for the rest of the year the Academy team maintains
a touring status. This is a key and unique component
of the Academy as it is imperative for the team to learn to live and
play the Tour.
A main
objective is the opportunity of practising with top players
at each tournament whilst getting in tune with the rhythm
and demands of Tour life.
