Education: Diploma in Sales and Marketing.  Completed VCE Year 12 at Haileybury College in Melbourne, Australia in 1998

Current Position:

The Monte Carlo Tennis Academy (MCTA) Coach

Coaching Qualifications: CCA

Background: 

Antony Hampson is a former National Junior Champion in Australia

 

After a brief period on the Tour where he gained a world ranking he has frequently been a practice partner to the top female players, firstly with Martina Hingis and latterly with Justine Henin-Hardenne

Antony has been the Academy Coach at the LTA Leeds Academy for the past two years.  Prior to this he coached at an academy in Melbourne, Australia for 3 years

Career Highlights:

Travelling with Martina Hingis in 2000 and 2001 as her training partner.  During this time Martina won the Sydney International twice and reached the final of the Australian Open both years losing to Jennifer Capriati on each occasion


Travelling with Justine Henin – Hardenne as her training partner at the 2004 Sydney International which she won and the Australian Open where she was also successful in 2004.  Antony was also Justine’s training partner during Wimbledon in 2005 and then again in Australia in 2006 where she reached the final of the Australian Open
